October was a pretty interesting month, especially near the end of the month were we had our first snow and got some snow covered ground while still having leaves in the trees.

For the first few photos, I was hiking in Whiteshell Provincial Park on a beautiful sunny day and a few squirrels were minding their own business close to the trail so I captured a few shots of them

These next few pictures I was driving down a gravel road behind Otterburne in Southern Manitoba and we had an interesting cloudy sky contrasting with the still green portion of a field behind a tree line which had lost their leaves already.

And then, a few days before Halloween, we had a pretty significant amount of snow falling and I captured this young eagle perched on a snow covered tree and then a few very interesting scenes with trees that had not lost their leaves yet giving a really nice contrast with the snow blanket, I also shot a red barn which also really contrasted with the landscape.
